Offered in seven shades, I tested “Light Medium,” which thankfully ended up being a good match for my in-between seasons skin. (OK, I made that last part up, but you can easily picture the surface of an egg, right?) ![]() Which brings me to a couple of months ago when I was presented with a soon-to-be-launched setting powder from Lawless Beauty that promised to smooth over any pores and fine lines, so you were left with the polished complexion of an egg. Also, I’ve long preferred a dewier finish, despite the recent trend towards satin and matte looks.Īlas, I wouldn’t be in this line of work if I wasn’t insatiably curious and willing to try just about any new product that had a compelling enough story behind it. I've never been a fan of setting powders because I always found them to be too drying.
